WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) issued the following statement congratulating Emory Cox on his appointment to serve in the Trump administration.
“I am proud to announce that Emory Cox, who has been my Senior Economic Advisor for the past four years, has been hired by President Trump to serve as Special Assistant to the President for International Economic Relations. Originally from Pell City, Emory has managed my financial services, tax, budget, appropriations, and international economics portfolios. Our nation will benefit from this Alabama patriot and I’m grateful for his service. While I am sad to see him go, I know he will be a great asset to Dr. Kevin Hassett, Scott Bessent, and President Trump’s entire team as they work to get the American economy booming again.”
Senator Tommy Tuberville represents Alabama in the United States Senate and is a member of the Senate Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, HELP, and Aging Committees.
